Give Children A Sporting Chance
A donation of just £10 could supply a sports kit for a child and give them a chance to participate in sport and play - a chance they may never have had before.
As the world gathers for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris this summer, Right To Play is asking for your support to ensure that vulnerable children globally can have a sporting chance and enjoy the far-reaching benefits of sport and play.
Your support could supply sports kits that help children transcend boundaries and build confidence through sport.
What is in a sports kit?
Sport kits can include essential outdoor play equipment and materials, such as balls, hula hoops, mats, sports jerseys, footballs, basketballs, cones, whistles, and volleyballs.
Sport is more than just sport
Right To Play was founded by Olympic speed skater Johann Olav Koss in 2000 and the charity’s mission has always been underpinned by the ability of sport and play to unite, inspire and empower.
Today, we reach more than 5.6 million vulnerable children around the world each year – protecting, educating and empowering them to rise above adversity. As a symbol of hope and solidarity, sport has a pivotal role in many of Right To Play’s programmes. It is helping children to overcome trauma and heal from the realities of war, challenging gender stereotypes, and giving a voice to those who are rarely heard.
We work to provide children in some of the world’s most dangerous places with access to the life-changing power of play and sport.
These activities are critical to children’s well-being and development, boosting their physical health and equipping them with vital life skills.
Your support creates a brighter future for children around the world.
