Right To Play UK’s Sports Quiz 2023 raises nearly £260K
Right To Play UK’s seventh annual Sports Quiz took place at the Intercontinental Park Lane in London on Thursday, 23 November and raised nearly £260,000 with pledges and donations still coming in!
This year's special event was once again sponsored by our long-time partner PokerStars, a Flutter international brand, and saw teams representing many of London’s top private equity and finance firms, competing on the night for the Sports Quiz trophy.
Huge congratulations go to Advent International – our 2023 Sports Quiz Winners! As ever, the competition in the room was fierce, with plenty of quizzing, bidding and winning – and a great reminder of the power of play.
Right To Play UK’s 2023 Sports Quiz entertainment was provided by our quizmaster and host John Inverdale. Chemmy Alcott, Olympic Skier and Right To Play UK Board Member led a thrilling live auction and sporting heroes including John Barnes, Chris Kirkland, Jess Eddie, Grace Prendergast and Sander Westerveld attended the event with 300 guests.
